God, I forgot how much I love this. I can't quite figure out why this isn't a permanent fixture on my chart. Along with I-Roy and Big Youth and Dillinger and Eek-A-Mouse, one of my favourite toasters. (My dad always favoured Prince Far I and Tapper Zukie, but I always found them a little too dignified and generally just lacking the playfulness of my favourites). And this is probably my favourite toasting LP, though CB200 and Wa Do Dem run it close. Just reggae perfection. I have great memories of tripping out on a Croatian beach at a festival a few years back, when some DJ - presumably sent by God himself - decided to drop 'Gimme Mi Gun'. Vibes.
