Edit: Surprisingly strong live album w/ excellent performances all around! ๐ _________________ "And canโt you see youโre in on it?

First listen. These last few weeks have been pretty poor in discoveries compared to, say, early 2014, for me (though The River and Acid Rap have both been landmark recent (re)discoveries), but this... Wow. If the level of quality doesn't drop towards the end, we're talking Love/Beach Boys-good psych pop here. I'm wordless, really. Sheer 60s beauty, I can't even concentrate. What a glorious album.
Quite simply one of the best electronic albums of all-time, finding an almost perfect middle ground between food for the brain and food for the feet. More people would do very well indeed to let this into their lives. Those drums are just fantastic, the incessant, unpredictable skittering embodying everything that made jungle/drum'n'bass so exciting to fifteen-year-old me. I have no idea why this isn't on my chart. I have a lot of work to do when I finally decide to expand. I can't keep neglecting this shit. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
