I can listen to any kind of Jazz anytime. On the other hand.... _________________ "And can’t you see you’re in on it?

Well behaved milquetoast jazz vs. highly emotionally charged & dynamic death metal
The Red In The Sky Is Ours has quickly become one of my favorite metal albums of the 90s since this tourney began. The highly emotive vocals break with death metal tradition to heart wrenching effect. The music is constantly turning on a dime and delivers new rewards with each listen. Pretty easy decision for me. Although I do hope that the Al Haig Trio gets Norrman laid!!!

The Red in the Sky Is Ours. I just find the Al Haig Trio a little too predictable. It's actually just really bland, if I'm being honest. Don't get me wrong, it's fine for what it is - it's just that what it is doesn't excite me. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Yeah, Al Haig doesn't do much for me either. Vote to the death metal classic.

Yes a convert!
Al Haig Trio was pleasant, but I have to vote for my nomination.

This is pretty much how I felt. Red in the Sky is no Slaughter of the Soul, but it's still damn good. Easy choice for me.
