Elton. Aside from a handful singles, I really can't stand most of Joel's work at this point. Elton had a great run of albums early on.

I think Billy Joel has had the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows, while Elton John seems to have been more consistently entertaining. Had to vote for Billy simply because of this.
