Albums You Added To Your Collection Today

Romanelli · 2011-12-28T19:13:10-05:00

Today was a great day musically...added 3 new titles to my collection, a total of 5 discs. Three discs, 102 tracks consisting of everything Johnny Cash ever recorded for Sun Records, including alternate takes and unreleased material. Plus a nice big booklet with lots of pics and liner notes. Been wanting this for some time now...FINALLY got around to getting it! The debut album plus 8 bonus tracks! What music did you get today?

I got the following today:

Blinking Lights and Other Revelations
Kerosene Hat by Cracker
Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
We are devo by devo

Unfortunately, the Elbow album they had in that store was gone (Asleep in the Back) so I missed out! It always took a backseat to my other purchases and I was ready to buy it today, but no luck. They did have The Seldom Seen Kid though so I might get that one next time.

Apologies if I'm answering the wrong question (because I'm not sure I quite understand the wording in this one), but Elbow is enjoyable and the album was like 3 bucks so why not purchase it? It's a pretty damn good effort (Asleep in the back). Fairly relaxing throughout and the drumming is fantastic. It has quite a few different elements in it so it's a pretty chill and interesting album.
