We're a pretty well-balanced group. We draw from a large range of ages. The average is probably somewhere in the 20s but there are plenty of users in their teens and plenty born at a more comfortable distance from the apocalypse.

As for how informed you are, if you stick around long enough a lot of these guys will easily make you feel like you've hardly listened to music at all. 😲

My Bloody Valentine, Waterboys, Talk Talk, Butthole Surfers and Nirvana are the only acts on this list which actually came out of 80s. The rest started way back in 70s.

You're getting more and more enjoyable to read as days go by. Did you realize that?

Good nicklas, thats the response I wanted 😄 Mostly because it means I can type more so you know more typing to do.

Right 'Controversial Music Opinions On BEA!' is a direct rip off to a thread in a far away interweb land called 'Controversial Manic Street Preachers Opinions' or something like that. The important thing to remember is it was about 'Manic Street Preachers' and not about all other bands. So basically the premise was "So what are your controversial Manic Street Preachers opinions?" and ofcourse people responded by saying how one album is underappreciated, which unsung songs are actually the persons favorite on the album, which singles some fans didn't feel. Like if I were to do it I would say 'The Year Of Purification' and 'Epicentre' are two of the best tracks on Know Your Enemy, It's Not War Just The End of Love and So Why so Sad are two of the greatest singles Manic Street Preachers ever released (both may be in my top 5 favorite songs released as singles by them), Lipstick Traces leaves out some of the best B-sides they have done etc etc etc.

However... things changed as things went on as things do when things gon be things. Whole albums were dismissed as rubbish, the "Manics have done nothing good since THB/EMG" people came out the woodwork and songs were called awful. Suddenly a few started saying how Nicky Wire was an awful person because of (lets face) pretty much everything he has ever said or done. From then on it became a wild party of people posting the most outrageous things possible, culminating in a post of somebody saying "I don't like the Manic Street Preachers" or "the Manic Street Preachers are suck" but with a little more stronger word which I don't usually use on here. No one took it seriously again until someone posted one saying something like "I think Richey James Edwards is a pedophile" (or it might have been another equally disaster thread) and things started again. It might seem an immensely crude thing to accuse someone of but it wasn't something completely random either. The accusation was made because (and this is a story from god knows who) he got stone cold drunk one time in Bangkok, going to get a "massage" in a redlight district and somehow get back. When he was sober later the next day he was warned the place he had been wandering around has been known to recruit women under a certain age at times. On learning about this he reportedly looked "worried". It was nonsense and based on no sense as well as nasty. That was the supposed evidence yet it blew up everything and I think the world ended or something.

In conclusion the thread has gone off course and the thread as you see in late 2014 is simply an extension of 'Musical Random Chat'. However while 'Musical Random Chat' posts are made under the pretense of "hey check this out, respond if you are interested" the post in 'Controversial Thread' are made under the pretense of "HEYYYYYYY READ THIS! WHAT DO YOU THINK!? WHat Are Your oPiNiOnS PlEaSe????? Please Respond To This Post"

Cumilating looks like it means a different kind of climax.

There's only one kind of climax.

Well, except for Climax, Kansas. That's not a climax in the traditional sense at all.
