Haha! I love that album. Courtney Love was a chameleon if nothing else, and that's her Babes in Toyland phase. Babes in Toyland rock!
If a chameleon nets her a noisy off-the-rails record that I love then I wish she would've stayed a good chameleon. Then again I don't dislike even Hole's poppier records...

Sorry, but I didn't like it either. I'm glad you like the album, but it was too noisy for me.
Now I'm listening to Skin Yard's eponymous debut. I think the tracklisting for this is wrong. Both RYM and Wikipedia say that the original vinyl issue has 9 tracks while the CD and vinyl reissues have 15, the amount BEA has. So, I'll look into that more before editing it.

Oh, she stayed a chameleon alright. she just chose different ecosystems. I think Live through this is her best followed by Pretty on the Inside. After Celebrity Skin I sort of lost track.
Really concise progressive metal defined by lyrical influence from Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Christo. Musically in touch with frantic riffwork that is very much inspired by the like of John Petrucci and Michael Romeo. Love it.
