Props to Gowi for the Ian Williams nom. I've loved his work with Don Cab and Battles. It's a shame he's drawn such tough competition in round 1.

I been lucky enough to shoot both in action and both were spectacular to watch perform live.




I'll be voting for Thurston because he was totally badass the times I saw him play.




Hey Satie, don't rip on post-Daydream Sonic Youth and then hide. I do prefer 80s Sonic Youth, but there's a lot to love about their later work even if it's not quite on par.

I respect Ian Williams and your choice Gowi but I love love love Thurston Moore as a guitarist. A little too much.
