I think Fahey's solo albums are better than Moor'e solo albums (by a lot), so it makes it easy.

John Fahey was a masterful artist without a band, but Thurston Moore would never amount to the greatness of Sonic Youth without the rest of the band.

Does that make sense? 😨

Fahey gets my vote.

We don't really know that for sure. Had Thurston gone solo in the 80s, we may have seen him pull off a solo Daydream Nation. although not on the level of peak Sonic Youth, his new solo album is actually really good.

but yeah, Fahey has always been my pick to win this tournament. Nothing is gonna change that
