Yeah big up the man Ranglin. He won't get too far but he's a leg-end.

I think this is one of the only rounds in this tournament where I'm not too fond of either guitarist. ๐Ÿค” Shame what happened to Rhoads... He was talented, and frankly I think his few years in Quiet Riot were completely wasted. Might go with Ernest.

Rhoads wrote some of the most awesome, powerful riffs in metal history, and his solos were far from mindless shredding, but well thought out, precise works. He made Ozzy's solo career, without him, Ozzy's music in the 80s would've been supremely average.

Because Jake E. Lee was a slouch, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Whilst Rhoads is often underlooked (or overhyped depending on the fan) he was a very integral part of Ozzy's initial recordings and was on the beginning to really coming into his own. I have to wonder if he had lived how long he would've stayed with Ozzy and what he would've done as time chugged on. I do prefer Lee's lines though on some days though.

Nah, Lee was great too. I was more talking about the stuff that Ozzy wrote on his first couple albums would've not been particularly good without Rhoads. I would've been really interested in what Rhoads would've eventually done down the road.
