Yo, I just wanted to check in and say that this isn't dead. As mentioned before, I only have one day a week I have time to really go on BEA and last week I went to the Texas Renaissance Festival and this weekend I'll be at Fun Fun Fun Fest. This Monday or next weekend I'll have another installment, and elaborate on everything past the Slint and Talk Talk part and more. Today I just stumbled across a two-disc vinyl copy (along with Weather Report's Heavy Weather) of some jams that the three percussionists from Tortoise did back 2006, titled Bumps, that was produced by Peanut Butter Wolf that was pretty cool. I'll be seeing This Will Destroy You this weekend at the fest. <3
