I found it a disappointment on the first couple of listens, but I keep on going back to it over and over again. I'm probs just an Andy Stott fanboy anyhow.

EDIT: thanks to this comment, I remember that my 2012 aoty top 3 looked eerily similar, with good kid, mAAd city, The Idler Wheel..., and Luxury Problems. The highest acclaimed rap album, the highest acclaimed singer-songwriter album, and Andy Stott... huh

Against Me! is number 1 and then at the very least 10 other albums could be 2 and 3. Current music passed me by this year.

I'll make it up by listening the top 10 of 2014 here before end of year. 🤣
