I made a samba chart. I'll leave at 50 albums for now because 50 is a pretty number, but I shall expand it and add some comments soon (well, maybe). Take a look.

Please rate all of my charts 5/100 and leave a nasty comment. It will help free me from the judgement of others and just enjoy my favorite music for what it is. Either that or it will make me bitter and hateful, but I guess we won't know until we try.

Only saw this post now, thanks for the feedback (and for forroemvinil, that's a fantastic website)! I might know by hearing a huge amount of songs which I have no idea of their names or who plays them, but I haven't listened many forró albums tbh, so I can't make a chart now, but I have a lot of interest in it, and could actually start to dive properly into the genre. Might do this within the next month. Anyway, these are great albums:

This is not a forró album per se, as it is a mix of a bunch of northeastern genres (forró, coco, maracatu, etc), but I adore it, and highly recommend it.
I've made a major update to my one and only chart. In fact, this much needed freshen up feels like the biggest alteration I've ever made to my chart since its creation.
I've tried to keep it all very "me" and to my taste specifically, rather than giving higher ratings to albums (and works from certain decades) that "should" be given high(er) ratings.
I'm quite happy with how it's shaping up so if you want find some interesting music, including a lot of great music released in the last 10 years or so and a fair sprinkling of electronic music to boot, have a gander and see if anything piques your interest 😄
