Perfect Pop Songs

The deadline is Sunday, 11th January Those "perfect pop songs". We all have them. But what exactly is that one "perfect pop song"? And how do we find out? Well, that's where you come in! I'd like you to leave a list here or via my PMs of your personal perfect pop songs, you should aim for no more than 250 songs, but you can include as little as 10. Now I know this is going to be hard to define but I'm personally going to generally keep to prefix-pop rather than suffix-pop, and by that I mean I'll make a list of my favourite dream pop, jangle pop, etc etc rather than pop punk, pop rock, pop rap etc. Obviously, there's exceptions to these in which I'll be using suffix-pop rather than prefix-pop, for instance I'll be keeping away from progressive pop but maybe I'll include some pop rock songs every now and then. There's no real fixed definition of what makes a "perfect pop song", so just nominate what you feel fits this criteria for you - whether it be sweet melodic-based inoffensive ditties or basic-structured indie pop, go for whatever you feel works. I'd advise keeping your lists 2-3 songs per artist but really you can include as many as you want. So basically this is rule-less. Just make a list of pop songs you like. The deadline for submitting your lists will be New Year's Eve, so if all lists can be either here or on my PMs before the new year that'll be great. If you have any problems with this deadline, just drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do. The results should be up no more than a month after. Get listing! N.B.: If you want particular songs to gain more points than others, then feel free to order them. If not, leave them in no particular order and each album will gather the same amount of points

Sorry for the massive delay (this was supposed to have been collected on New Year's Day and then posted the next day, 16 days late oops) but I've been pretty busy recently, and this is going to take quite a while to do. I'll start collecting the results tonight but in most probability this won't be posted for a few days. As I said in my last post, if you need to get your list in now is the time. PM me or reply to this thread with your list (can be as long as you like) in the next couple of days if you want it to count!
