I want some rap...pretty new to the genre, but something more intellectual (not sure if that's the right word). Something with really great production. :)

I've really enjoyed this Rie Nakajima album. Weird experimental type thing with lots of tiny sounds crawling around in your head triggering nice feelings all around.
On the more accessible tip, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith's album is just absolutely lovely, first half more percussive and songy with weird warped vocals, second half more spaced out ambient, all driven mostly by the wonderful Buchla Music Easel synth.
Seems you already got a ton of great folk recs from the others, so I'm just gonna second Iva Bittov/Vladimir Vaclavek, second Pentangle x5, and definitely give a special mention to
