Tagging charts?

I read AM plans on implementing an album tagging system, which could help with searching albums by tags. What about searching charts by tags? I think it could be easier than looking for charts by name.

Being able to assign genre tags to your own custom charts will be a fantastic idea for the website. You could put 'Jazz', 'Black Metal' or 'Country' into the search and find all the custom charts with the tag.
This will be far easier than checking each users custom charts looking for something or relying on the word of mouth in the Chart talk thread.

Pretty sure this has been discussed, though you can already search by chart name in the search bar, type in post-punk for example and post-punk charts will appear.

I'd be all for this. It could be slightly hard to implement though 🤔 If AM finds out a way to make this possible, that'd be a great asset to the site.

Not all of the genre charts have their names.
