Concrete by Marcus Hamblett

Super chill jazz fusion for an autumn afternoon, but spring does fine too. Sinister undertones are only the natural way of things.

Really surprised no-one's come across this yet:

Ripe 4 Luv by Young Guv

Released back in March on Slumberland, but seemed to get lost in among a slew of other releases at the time. Indie-pop rooted in the 80s, with slick production values and a couple of tracks even sounding like Paisley Underground-era Bangles. If they'd been fronted by a bloke. Give it a spin.

Also, there's a new Ela Orleans. Has anybody listened to it? I'm probs the only one who cares, but I thought Lost was excellent.

PC Music released their first album today. It's technically a comp.. and kinda short, but it's still their first release 🤣

I think that and Beautiful were obvious choices for them. Two stellar tracks. Kinda surprised to not see Hey QT on it though 🙁

Wonder if it'll get a physical release.

I figured Sophie's work wouldn't be on it though, hoping he'll release his own full-length sometime soon.

Just to clarify, I said wouldn't, not would. I also think it's a sign that he'll release a full length... maaaaaybe by the end of the year. He's been a bit under the radar since Hey QT.

Sorry misread that. Yeah I've been wondering what he's been up to since QT
