When Antonio first joined, he had a thread in which he uploaded videos of him playing songs on guitar and then prompted users to try and guess what song it was. Regardless of what song he played, or how obvious the answer was, I just guessed 'Chain Hang Low' by Jibbs every time, because it's one of the stupidest songs ever made (I still own a copy on 12", though). _________________ 2021 in full effect. For whatever reason I've never really been able to connect with Mercury. Cool guy, contributes a lot to the site and is always enthusiastic, but my taste just doesn't seem to match up with his most of the time and I've never really had much conversation with him.
Skinny sometimes strikes me as arrogant or narcissistic, which is probably true to an extent, but most of what he says is interesting and he's probably the person I pilfer recs on new releases the most from. Funny guy, great music writer (I wish I could speak as eloquently and in depth about the albums I love as he does), a bit harsh at times but altogether fun to talk to in the few occasions I have, plus one of the most foundational members of the site. He's pretty solid.
Skinny for the whole thing. #bowdownbitches. Srs though Skinny's always best taken straight, no chaser- it may be a rough ride and you'll wake up somewhere strange, but it's always an invigorating and enlightening experience.
