When it comes to it, I always look forward to what ShaneSpear has to say (not that Mercury isn’t interesting, either) as there’s a depth and detail there that I really appreciate. Admittedly, I’ve butted heads with Mercury in the past due to both of us misunderstanding/misperceiving a statement and getting it go way out of hand; though I hold no ill feelings there and Mercury is pretty fun to chat with. I think I’m leaning towards Shane in this for my personal taste of discussion stuff and watnot, but I don’t have a teetering stick in my rear anymore so I’m not against Mercury at all.

All I know is Mercury is a shiny shiny bright thing. He is exuberant and I love the way he expresses himself about the music he loves. Pure enthusiasm. Even if he gets a little touchy when you say anything negative about his favourites. 🤣 I want him to get very far in this.

With Shane you have to open the doors to the discussion yourself, it's not like he comes out of nowhere and starts throwing interesting fields of information at you; it's something you have to go looking for I guess. Least my experience has been like that.
