Love both to bits, although neither would be top of my list of 'summery' songs, although one does at least mention the word 'summer' in the title. And solely on that basis (and for the jangly guitar break precisely half-way through) I'm going to have pick Love, but there's a fag paper between the two.

No offence Patman, but Best of My Love doesn't seem like a summer song whatsoever 😐

... But Bummer in The Summer is hardly a summer song either. I'm going to have to go with it by default though.

To echo others, I love both songs, but neither screams 'summer' to me. Surely 'You Set the Scene' would've been a much better pick from Forever Changes. Anyway, gonna go 'Best of My Love' here. Not massively summery, but something I'd be more likely to put in the sunshine.

I guess everyone is going to have their own definition of summer. To me, Best Of My Love is the first song I shove on iPod come summer, if there's one song I could use to summarise that'd be it, sure, it's got nothing to really do with summer (that can be said for a lot of songs in this tourney though), but there's not really a specific way to define a summer song I guess. I spent last summer mapping hills and beaches for 2 months, every single day I'd play Best Of My Love while strolling around, I just think it's the perfect summer anthem. 😎
