So organic chemistry took a dark twist today. My professor delivered some sad news about one of his colleagues's current condition. She has stomach cancer and they removed her entire stomach (who knew you could live without a stomach?). And now he is worried about his health. He has terrible acid reflux and his stomach is already in a precancerous state. He admitted that he is scared now and all he wants to do is make sure he stays alive until after his son is well off on his own. Then after that, he says he finds to reason no live anymore. Hit me hard. _________________ ...and for dessert!
