I Saw this in some sites and it's not bad .

POINTS :

1 - It makes the spams in the forums and reviews less
2 - It Makes the friendship among the users more
3 - This would possibly make more new users to come to this site next time !

Yeah ur right ... maybe giving 1/10 points for each sentence in chat ? 🧱

I shudder when I try to imagine what would happen if JMan gained access to on-site chat.

Might be a good idea, as long as spam is controlled. I wouldn't award any points for it, though.

Nah I'm only joking.

Chat might be fun, but I'm not sure it should be a priority at the moment - the forums do the job pretty well and (ideally) encourage deeper discussions.

An item on the list is to add some type of chat interface to the forums, but I don't think the output should appear on the home page.

I don't spam. Spamming is when you make short posts to get points. Joj does that a lot, but I don't think he knows it. I try to make sure I make at LEAST a full line in my posts before I post.

I know I have done it, but other than on AOTD threads and the S*** Nobody Says thread, when have I done it? I'll try not to anymore.
