i got a fancy new record player for christmas, just arrived back in town today. popped over to the record store to see if anything jumped out at me and I saw a used copy of this
so I grabbed that up, and then the dude ringing me up told me the seattle symphony is doing a performance of this very thing, so I'll have to get out to that.

Went back to my hometown today, had to choose between the ice cream shoppe/Beatles collection and the vinyl shop and ended up going vinyl hunting.
If any of y'all ever visit California please let me take you there. So much cool old stuff, everything from the first mono press of Elvis Presley's self-titled to some cool rare metal. I picked up
in pretty good shape (the 1967 stereo press) and this 1947 press of Edith Piaf.
I blame Pa for this after all his (and Norm's) French 60s pop they've been playing in Dubtrack of late. Not so sure about the lavender-coloured vinyl though...
Yesterday I placed an order for six more albums that Billy Joe Royal put out there. Right now I am just waiting for them to get to me. ๐๐๐
God bless you and his family always!!! ๐๐๐

P.S. Once I get them, I intend to get seven more and by then, I should have just about every song that came from the beautiful precious. How else can you tell someone who isn't here anymore that you love them? ๐ข๐ข๐ข _________________ Me & my favorite singer James Otto
