I highly recommend this one.

LNZNDRF by LNZNDRF

Lots of cold wave/postrock influences, with some more soulful moments. Good album, overall.

By the way, the band is composed of The National & Beirut members.

Panic is Perfects' Cellspace is a real good indie-ish album but repeats a lot of the songs that were on their EP

Been listening to a lot of Fred Frith lately thanks to Keith and then all of a sudden this comes out

Everybody's Somebody's Nobody by Fred Frith & Darren Johnston
and it's really outstanding. Recommended to fans of Talk Talk, free jazz (or just general free improv), and just people who like what Keith likes

To be added alongside upcoming releases by The Range, The Field, Tim Hecker and Katy B that I'm excited about is M83's upcoming album, titled Junk:

Here is Do It, Try It; the lead single which... I admit I enjoy. This feel-good ditty definitely doesn't take itself too seriously, with cheesy synths, almost saloon-style keyboard, pretty basic life-affirming lyrics and the cute-animals meets 80s-visuals meets sock-puppet aesthetic. It's a pretty awesome pop with the enough M83 idiosyncrasies (collosal waves of synth and breathlessly shouted refrain adding melodrama during the chorus) to keep me interesting. It's no Midnight City but it more than suffices.

Hey I'd like to listen to that, if you know what I mean (no I don't mean come to my house).
