Went to Ladbroke Grove today with the intention of getting that Be(e) record JoD keeps banging on about. Alas Rough Trade were out of stock, so instead I got:


Live Loving by Sugar Minott

From the ever amazing People's Sound on the All Saints Road. US repress admittedly, but a stonker of a record and worth a heck of a lot more than I paid for it. Amazingly they also had a copy of Sister Nancy's One, Two in the racks.


Alagbon Close by Fela Kuti

From Honest Jon's. Knitting Factory repress, but got the guy in the shop to play it and loved it immediately.



Noel Ellis by Noel Ellis

Review of this coming soon in mi diaree. Early 80s Showcase LP by Alton Ellis' son.

Then I went to Bed(fordshire) and bought this from Vinyl Revelations in Luton:
