Not long back from a trip to the Thames Valley shoegaze mecca that is Reading, where I picked up:

Leader Of The Pack by The Shangri-Las

Bought in a shop opposite a candy store. You get the picture?

Eugenie by The Popguns

Indie-pop-bliss-a-go-go

Begin by The Millennium

Dutch 70s repress of this soft-psych/baroque-pop nugget but well worth picking up as I've never seen it on vinyl before

Battle Of The Field by The Albion Country Band

First heard in a record shop in Cheltenham. Rustic Brit folk to shear a sheep to. Cheap as chips so couldn't resist.

Four Lads Who Shook The Wirral by Half Man Half Biscuit

Continuing my HMHB odyssey, found in an Oxfam shop. Contains the immortal 'You're Hard', which is well worth a listen if you're a Black Flag fan.

Also saw a copy of Catherine Wheel's Chrome without a price on it. Took it to the counter thinking I was going to get a bargain - bloke wanted £60 for it. Yeah right...

Yeah, surely one of the coolest album covers in your collection right now 😄

🤣

Be nice Jim.

Have to admit that once again I'm jealous. I've also never seen a copy of Begin by The Millennium. Would have definitely picked that up.

I'm always nice! You know my feelings on coloured vinyl though... And that one looks like regurgitated Hubba Bubba intertwined with flecks of vomit after a night spent drinking blue daiquiris.

Yeah that Millennium LP was a bit of a chance find - and in beautiful condition too once I'd got all the dust off and given it a clean. Guy behind the counter had no idea what it was either, perhaps why it was priced so low.
