is there a way to filter incomplete albums so that I only see the ones I have personally added? I feel like I should clean up my own mess before attempting others

There is not. And actually, most of yours are done now.

You can't do this at the moment, but it's a good idea and I'll add to the list.
EDIT: Actually, I'm wrong. You can do this already from the 'newly added albums' page. View albums 'Not Moderated' added by [User name]
e.g. for dividesbyzero: http://www.besteveralbums.com/added_albums.php?f=ModStatus&username=dividesbyzero
