I'm finding that 2016 has had a surprisingly low amount of intriguing albums so far... I've been trying to find albums that catch my eye, but I keep coming up empty handed.
Can some of you guys shine some light on albums from this year that you think I'd enjoy? My chart is at a measly 10 entries. :|
Hey, does anyone know how A Cosmic Rhythm With Each Stroke will be distributed? I know ECM normally doesn't put stuff on streaming services, but I thought I'd at least be able to find a Bandcamp link somewhere. Apparently MP3s are available to pre-order on Amazon (though I'd probably be getting the CD with them obviously), but I'd prefer going somewhere less corporate if I'm going to pay money for this.

The fact that Pitchfork gave the new Wadada Leo Smith & Vijay Ijey BNM is super promising. It's not usually their cup of tea. Definitely gotta check that out. _________________ Doubles & Conch

I agree, so far the only projects in 2016 I've been really impressed with is Kanye's and Kendricks...and I love everything they do. Hopefully the year starts to pick up.
