I'm trying to add The 1975's new album to the site which comes out next February, but whenever I try to submit it as a 2016 album, the date gets rejected. Is this unique to me or is this just how BEA works?

Yeah I don't think you can add stuff to the database that early. Probably best to wait until you can hear it at least.

Yeah you're only supposed to add current releases, not future ones.

You are supposed to only add albums you think are the best of all time. The goal of the website is not to make a complete every album ever made database. For this reason you aren't supposed to add any future releases. My guess is that you won't be able to add it until January first.
