Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith - EARS

I know some folks were lukewarm on the last one but I think this one will click with more ppl.

Thanks Tap.

For anyone interested, I post a rundown of interesting new releases every Friday on http://meccalecca.com/?cat=2871

I undoubtedly miss a handful of records, some intentionally, some not. I think it's a pretty decent reference though.

Thanks Norman. The list keeps growing. Had no idea about that Teleman release next week. I loved Pete & The Pirates.

You may also personally be interested in knowing Colin Stetson and Beak> have releases out next Friday as well

Wa Di Yo by Lakou Mizik

Best first listen I've had in a while. Knew nothing about this record heading in (aside that it's from Haiti). Pretty sure this is something special. SomeWax, MasterBates, Fatty, SubtractsbySeven are just a few of the folks who I can see enjoying this.

Sv by Nadja

highly recommend to Rocky, Gowi, and Skinny. Noisy, hypnotic, subtly and slowly building/layer adding drone metal from imo one of the best acts in the genre. Solid

Sooooo much music.

I applaud you people "on the front" listening to so much new music. It's so daunting for me for some reason.
