Hey Pat,

Just saw this and thought of you. Haven't managed to find any of the tracks on it yet to stream but looking forward to giving it a spin. Let me know if you find anything!

I was actually listening to them earlier today, only track I've heard so far from this one though is this one by Tangible Excitement!, no sign of any stream yet, though it is for sale today here and I'm very tempted to buy a copy once I've money if they're still left...

Ginnels seemed to keep this hush hush, they've made no mention of anything since they supported Sea Pinks at their album launch last month, here's hoping a stream turns up soon!

No way am I paying twice as much as the record costs to get it posted to Blighty - silly! Rough Trade have got it for ยฃ11.99 as a pre-order which seems to make more sense. Not fussed about colour really... can't believe it's not on their Bandcamp page, but what the hey.

The Emotional Response Facebook page has another of the Tangible Excitement tracks... as well as a link to this Ginnels track from the 12". It's lovely and a little more scuzzy, more like a halfway house between A Country Life and some of the stuff on Crowns. Well worth a click.

That Rough Trade price is a lot better actually, that said, I don't have enough for either currently so it's all a pipedream at the moment. Nice find with that track from it too, judging by what I've heard so far I'm pretty certain it'll be one of my favourite things of 2016 currently once I get my hands on it, I'm looking around a bit on various bandcamp/label/facebook pages but no mention of streams anywhere yet. I did have the pleasure of stumbling upon Popical Island and their bandcamp page which I'd forgotten about, they have the fantastic Delphi split from last year by Oh Boland and Me & My Dog, 2 bands from the west of Ireland (Mayo and Galway to be slightly more preciese), as well as a few compilations of various bands on the label, the first 2 of which are now free, I've yet to listen to them but I imagine they're decent with bands like Squarehead/Skelocrats/Ginnels/Land Lovers and numerous others on there.

Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by Patman360

Gave my chart a much needed 'minor' overhaul, finally adding the artists that have dominated my listening for quite some time now, ranging from The Congos and Marty Robbins towards Ginnels, Kendrick and Modest Mouse, among a handful of others, feel free to judge away or drop by with anything of interest rec-wise.

As for my life outside of music, I'm currently haphazardly throwing together a presentation for Tuesday while watching the end of Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck (and think I'll dive into Meru after).

May be one of the few but I feel the new Animal Collective is my favourite of the year thus far, may even be there best since Fall Be Kind, which may be an EP but is easily my favourite AnCo release, I'm weird though. Also, enjoying the new Kanye/El Guincho/Rokia Traore among other things.

As well as this:

Untitled.2 by Various Artists

A free compilation of electronic/house/techno/ambient from Irish artists that well worth a listen, more and more quality artists are popping up all the time, one of just compilations already on my 2016 'chart'.

Anywho, more to come, but I've been underground all day so I need sleep.

I've been stuck in a little bubble finishing reports before I head to Wales on Sunday (somewhere in Pembrokeshire for those of you interested).

In the meantime, my listening has been made up of:

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground

2001 by Dr. Dre

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash

Louder Than Bombs by The Smiths

Computer World by Kraftwerk

Make of that what you will, I've been slightly losing my mind this week.

And on that note, I'm now back in civilisation (albeit for like a few more days then off collecting thesis data in rural Ireland again), but anywho, here's 100 albums for 2016, the first 100 I've enjoyed enough to chart, the top 15 or so in particular are excellent, enjoy mates and hit me up if you want an expansion on any album in particular cause time is preventing full chart comments currently.

New number 1 for the year and the excellent...

Let The Dead Bury The Dead by Rusangano Family
Hip hop and afrobeat styles blended together by way of Ireland, these guys have released some fantastic stuff in the past few years and this is no exception, listen here.

So here's my home for large parts of the summer now, going to be on my own for days on end which gives me a lot of chances to listen to full albums all day on repeat. Today I got to:

Boys And Girls In America by The Hold Steady

Volume 6: Days Have Gone By by John Fahey

Don't Check Me With No Lightweight Stuff (1972-75) by I-Roy

Funcrusher Plus by Company Flow

Get Rich Or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent

Was hoping to stick some new releases on my iPod but never got around to it, my bad, the I-Roy comp is probably my favourite out of these though.

Anyway, anyone got some recs (that may or may not be suitable for mountain climbing, it's cool either way).
