Years ago I ended up on the press list for a Beck show, but the confirmation email was sent last minute while i was in the Subway going in the opposite direction, so I didn't receive the email until it was too late.
But yeah, living in New York for the the bulk of my life, I had no option other than to miss hundreds and hundreds of shows I'd have like to have seen. I still kick myself for never catching Bjork or PJ Harvey, missing Kraftwerk at MOMA, the Liquid Swords show I had tickets for being cancelled...etc etc _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

I've been a huge R.E.M. fan my whole life. I had the opportunity to go, but had something else that I can't even remember get in the way... major regret!
I bought a ticket to see Them Crooked Vultures months before the gig... then on the day of the gig, convinced myself that my friend was supposed to have bought tickets for us both. When he said he only had a ticket for himself, I was totally deflated. I found the ticket in my room months later.
