A total pleasure, squire. I would have so kept that Rah Band 12" if I hadn't decided to ditch all my singles. Glad it's gone to a good home 😁

PRESENTING... hopefully the last...Lurid Coloured Vinyl edition, sponsored by that Anti chap

GASP!! at the RED & YELLOW sunburst swirly number that is the RSD'16 repress of:

Thunder, Lightning, Strike by The Go! Team

PUKE!! at the vomit-inducing GREEN press of:

Stand Still And Rot by Pinact

and GROW YRRR VEG!! to the 'FLORA' pressing of:

For A Reason by Lifetones

This last one's actually quite interesting - it's the guitarist from This Heat making a post-punk dub LP. Quite good actually, even though everyone at the time it was first released thought it was gash

As you may have read elsewhere I spent yesterday and today in Nottingham, and bumped into the quite simply marvellous Suedeswede during my brief sejourn. As well as a couple of pints and that Lifeforms LP I also gulped up:

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop

Big thankyou to LittleM for the heads-up on Anarchy. Fab shop - didn't find much of interest (think you nabbed the best stuff, son) but this was £4 with 'surface marks' (that's dust and some record brush scrapes to you and me). Playing it now and it sounds great

Snack Fans by Dog Chocolate

From Rough Trade, bought alongside Lifeforms record. A recent find, already a 2016 fave, and kinda funny asking the lass behind the till 'have you any Dog Chocolate'. Keep an eye-out for a synopsis in mi diareeeeee

And picked up whilst on holiday, plopping onto my doorstep in time for some home groovin' later:

This is Eleanore Mills by Eleanore Mills

RSD 2016 repress. Stellar smooth soul LP - Joy and Norm will love it, innit

Went to go pick up the new Andy Stott LP and got original issues of Andrew Cyrille's What About? and Anthony Braxton's B-X0 NO-47A, both of which are on BYG Actuel (that label I'll be representing whenever the label tourney happens).

I'd of picked that up myself. Shame there wasn't much for you to buy on the day but that's the way it goes + I would have been peeved had you come up with gold on my stomping ground!!! Did you get down to Rob's or Big Apple records whilst you were up here?
