If you dig jazz, go listen to this. Henry Threadgill doesn't play a note, but it's still totally him and it's a really great album. _________________ Progressive Rock

Another Kind Of Blues by U.K. Subs
First listen sounds great, following on the recent releases of this brilliant current lineup.
Just need to give a few more plays before I rate it and 'upload' it to the website {not sure anyone else will 😄 }
Apart from being a brilliantly entertaining and detailed video, this is a fantastic song. Very reminiscent of In Rainbows and Kid A. I'm hoping the entire album is up to this standard.
I'm guessing the main inspiration for the video was Wicker Man? _________________ Doubles & Conch
Eh, it's alright. Lotus Flower was probably a better track as a lead single (or whatever you want to call it), but the album could still turn out to be great. I've been listening to some of those unreleased tracks they debuted during the previous tour today, pretty excited for the album if it will be up to their standard, if they make it on the tracklist or not. Talking Identikit, Cut a Hole, Ful Stop, Skirting on the Surface...

Too many well-tuned violins. Polly Bradfield wouldn't approve. _________________ "I feel like for the last two years there’s been sort of a sonic evolution happening and I’ve been experimenting more and more."

Yeah it's strange, its literally just The Wicker Man but done in the style of Trumpton and Camberwick Green. I guess its trying to combine late-60s early 70s British culture or something.
Violins were a nice touch, very reminiscent of In Rainbows. Felt like the song just kinda plodded along though, no hooks or surprising moments. I just expect something a little more exciting from Radiohead other than 'we added strings' after a hiatus.
