I don't know how downhill this is considered, but a lot of singers in country music are not as front and center as they used to be. Toby Keith hasn't been in the top 10 since 2012, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, and Montgomery Gentry haven't been there since 2011, Sara Evans hasn't been there since 2010, Faith Hill hasn't been there since 2006, and Shania Twain hasn't been there since 2004. To me, the singers who are getting most of the radio time these days are okay, but in my opinion, people who have been in the picture longer shouldn't be forgotten about because they are who created the road that the new singers are now doing their walking on. 😄😄😄
