i miss the fragile sound of old cloud cult from when craig did everything, but they all seem to enjoy the triumphant sound well enough. it's just a personal preference thing. i do like this album a whole lot though. this is probably my favorite since the happy hippo. the middle of the album is stell as hell. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
Monthly trip to Portobello Road / Ladbroke Grove / Notting Hill this morning. Chucking it down with rain. Saw a bootleg copy of Loveless which I passed up on Portobello market (for obvious reason) but did pick up these, all from Honest Jon's (quelle surprise):
You can read more about this stunning LP in my Music Diary-thing. This pressing however was awful (full of surface noise and pops), so I sent the label a FB post to tell him as much. Nice as pie guy who runs it responded and said he'd send me a new one for nowt. Lovely bloke.
