Jos, amnesia or remember some of the things you have posted in the lounge? Don't for a second think you've been a perfect-angel/constant victim here, some of the things you have said have been utterly appalling with seemingly little empathy or regard for how that might make others feel... which is often what we're accussed of doing to you. Yes I have no right to claim a high horse here, but neither do you, stop making it look like you've always been gracious and respectful to everybody here and it's always somebody else's fault. Not trying to character-assassinate here, but yes you have contributed to some of the same problems here and maybe can actually work together rather than curl up in a bubble to make the overall relationship with you and your... "critics"? more harmonious here. Maybe actually look at someone else's chart and try an album you haven't heard, discuss it with them, and I mean who knows what wonderous discovery you might find and what doors it may open as a music fan. Or maybe we can finally just grudgingly learn to co-exist, oy vey round-and-a-round-and-a-round it goes where it stops nobody knows...
But I promise to stop contributing to what Im scolding you for, so will leave this conversation accordingly and stop ruining this thread, response or non.
For the record, I have no recollection of ever once saying that I think that I am perfect. I'll admit that I am ashamed of how long it took me to get to the frame of mind that I now have about certain things, but I will never once hesitate to admit it. Also you and others here may find what I have to say to be appalling, but that right there is something that every last one of us has to learn how to live with as long as everyone has the freedom to put what we think out there. No two people will ever be the same. I've already learned how to live with it. Can the same be said about you?
