Original Silvertone press. This had been on my Discogs '50 most wanted' list for the best part of a year and was found hiding amidst the indie/alternative 12"s section in a shop called Sound Machine (luckily with this sleeve and not the one full of funny liquid). Walked to the counter and thought he'd realise he'd under-priced it but luckily I distracted him talking about Teenage Fanclub records. Playing it now and after removing the dust and giving it a proper clean it's bright, shiny, crackle-free and drips through my headphones like liquid morphine. Also picked up another copy of Seamonsters by The Wedding Present out of the same section to replace my other one which has a pretty nasty sticker mark on the sleeve. Bargains.
Loved this LP when it first came out and haven't heard it for a while. Was sitting in an Oxfam shop with £10 stuck on it. Worth £60 if Discogs are to be believed. 2 x white LPs.

Dead jealous about that Spectrum album Jim...nice find at a good price by the sounds of it. Funnily enough picked up the 12" single 'How You Satisfy Me' just this week from Anarchy.

It was quite the find mate, even better when you consider that I've now picked up original presses of this and Lazer Guided Melodies over the past couple of months for a combined total of £16. Off to Leeds and (hopefully) Huddersfield next week for work so who knows what other gems I might pick up. If it's anywhere near as good as the last Yorkshire haul it'll be ace. By the way, not sure if you're planning to coming down to town soon but if you do this might interest you. Can't bloody wait for it myself (missed out last year as was on hols)... _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing Folk 'n Stuff SHAMELESS RECORD DEALER PLUG
