I've never quite been all that enamoured with 'The Cure' - to me they're just a boring version of The Smiths, devoid of Morrissey's witty lyrics. I by no means hate them but really don't like them as much as I should for someone who favours jangly guitars.
Arcade Fire - Normal indie rock shadowed by a slightly pretentious front-man and some folk leanings. Ok, but far too overrated in music circles.
Neil Young - I do quite like 'After the Gold Rush' and 'Harvest', to an extent, but I don't know if a lot of his albums are of high enough quality to justify his position in the top 20 artists on this site. Lot of dud albums really and nowhere near as good as Dylan.
None of these 3 artists are pet hates of mine but as artists that are well revered, I don't think they're to be included.

Never understood the hype around Bob Dylan, The Doors, Joy Division, and especially My Bloody Valentine to name a few.
