Hey again.
This time, I won't be talking about post-grunge and/or nu-metal with including all the bands at once, I'm going to start with the band Hoobastank and you can tell me all of your thoughts on the band: Hoobastank (I'll be doing the same with other post-grunge/nu-metal bands within the next few weeks).
I'll be making a poll asking which song is better out of all of them (For me, The Reason isn't really their best song in my opinion, I think there are other songs that the band have played better).
But yeah, feel free to comment on here about what you think about Hoobastank.

"The Reason" is one of the most annoying and overplayed songs of the 21st century. "Running Away" is probably the best song I've heard by them, but even it's quite forgettable.

Dood, when I was going through my angsty teenage years, The Reason was my jam.
Actually quick story, so I'm on my school's rowing team and when we have to go across states for regattas, we usually play throwbacks as some sort of consensus on the AUX cord (you know, not everyone likes today's pop or trap music). The Reason came on the AUX and when everyone was singing to it in the van is was one of the most innocently blissful moments of my undergrad.
Nostalgia for life, m' f'.

hey Smithy,
I voted The Reason as I think it's a great song but to be fair it is the only song I have heard by them!
I watched the video for The Reason recently and looks like the band are of eastern/oriental descent (?) not sure but then I'd never seen them before either.
As to the genre, well, so many bands out there doing the same thing aren't there.
