Can probably deserves top place, but what I'd actually put on my record player more often would be Kraftwerk.

My favorite overall from this list is Klaus Schulze, with Can and Faust and Popol Vuh closely following, probably in that order.

I could have gone Klaus schulze, Kraftwerk or Tangerine Dream. So I just randomly said Tangerine Dream. People either go for the more electronic stuff or the more guitar stuff. I go for the more electronic stuff. Though I do listen to both.

On another note, after reviewing this list, I likely can no longer say that German culture just wasn't what it used to be like I likely wrongly said before.
