Hey guys, just getting into Krautrock and I'm digging what I've heard so far.

I'd love some album suggestions. I've started with Neu! and Can.

Try to recommend some albums that I won't find with a simple 'Best of Krautrock' google search..

Thanks!

Samtvogel by Gunter Schickert

this one is nice, not rly a drum one so it's a bit mellow but it's worth your attention

Plenty more where these came from!

Krautrock is really a pretty loose term now. These albums typify some of the earlier sounds.

Actually, a Google search most likely would turn up the very best ones. Maybe not these ones though. Either way, I like these ones.
Eloy are doubly cool because not only were they krautrock but they also made groovy prog rock concept albums!!! What could be better than that???

My absolute favourite German band is Can. Wonderfully inventive and seriously weird.

Check out;

I forgot this one by Eloy . It's a little more typical Krautrock-y than the other ones.
