Anyway, you’re probably confused to what the hell SLP is in the first place, so here’s a bit of an overview: The intent here is to get more activity on the forums going and promote discussion of things not within a simple album format. It’s sort of inspired by a few community threads we’ve had in the past but also something we did on my first music forum around a decade ago— getting the community to come together and listen to a playlist mix with no branching theme to give a sort of new audience some awareness of songs others love and have fun discussing them in varying levels of detail. So in short what we have here is a playlist discussion that is exactly like the ALC but not with a sole album. Users will have a duration to listen to the playlist of about a week— these playlists being about 30-45 minutes in total length. As a good balance let’s keep it at under fifteen songs at a cap. Much like the ALC, you don’t have to limit your discussion/listening experience to that week. Discussion threads can be posted in at any time and revisited by some fresh ears when wanted. This isn’t rigid. This is supposed to be fun. Of course, we will be using Spotify. So that’s pretty much the only 'hard' rule. Questions? Volunteers?

I'd love this to pick up as a recap of people's favorite 2017 tracks... thinking of doing so myself but I'm not as far along as others when it comes to discovering 2017. I think we have a couple top 2017 song threads, but it'd be nice if peeps put it together in a playlist and discussed why?

Just a thought I'd be very interested in playing along with and hope to be able to do so myself in a month or so (I'm behind... somehow in like October I decided to give 2017 a shot).
