Again, I don't dislike this song, I just think it's a bit too long with not enough payoff. This may just be a case of preferring slightly different things, or maybe one of the things I didn't care for grabbed you a lot more than it did me.
this -- but i also didn't really feel the vocals accompanied the instrumentation all that well whereas if someone with a deeper, more miserable toned voice would've increased my enjoyment a bit more
The main thing I meant is that this song, which I just relistened to, is based around a melody that doesn't really change as the song goes on - he just adds more details to it here and there. ... But when it finally starts to build, I don't think it gets intense enough to justify the length of the song. ...

@Fischman - That's awesome! (Yeah, I guess bed bugs aren't the most appealing...it was more to express that the album overall is not at all sad.)
