Even though i don't hate the album, i think it is no match for the RHCP albums to come...i even prefer OHM over this one. Higher Ground is a clear highlight in this LP, and if i'm not mistaken a fragment of "Pretty Little Ditty" will be taken as a sample by Crazy Town for their late 90's hit "Butterfly", i didn't know it until i listened to this album hahaha.
RoundTheBendI miss the comfort in being sadProfile Ground Control
The rebirth of a probably failing band. A crucible and the birth of John Frusciante into the band who arguably is one of the best guitarists in rock and has been referenced to be the best guitarist of 90s rock. Dude was like a teenager when he joined this band. And when he left it, the RHCP nearly never have the same synergy as they did with him.
Good to fantastic tracks:
Johnny, Kick A Hole In The Sky
Pretty Little Ditty
Fire (Hendrix cove)
Taste the Pain
Knock me Down
Nobody Weird Like Me
Higher Ground
