Most America hockey teams are stuffed with Canadians.

But yeah... ๐จ [/quote]
Oh yeah I knew most hockey players are either canadian, scandanavian, russian/former soviet union countries or from the states in the US that are basically Canada
Still seems awfully strange a Canadian franchise hasn't won the Stanley Cup in over 25 years
Go Blues. Solid franchise who haven't been to the finals in 49 years.
It would be so sweet if they could close it out tonight. Especially against the Bruins, who beat them 49 years ago. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
Indeed. Admittedly, I didn't watch any hockey this year because my team is terrible. But it's always nice when a team wins for the first time. Enjoy it Blues fans!
Seeing all the predictions for the NBA, so I thought I'd weigh in on the NHL (even though it's started already).
EAST
Atlantic
1. Tampa Bay - Still stacked, and will learn from last year.
2. Boston - Simply put, they're just really solid. Good transition from one generation to the next.
3. Toronto - Still in cap hell, but you can't argue with the firepower here.
4. Montreal - My sleeper team. If Price is healthy, they're a playoff team.
5. Florida - Everyone's sleeper pick, and I gotta say, they're probably finally arriving this year.
6. Buffalo - Close, but no cigar. Not enough depth, especially on D.
7. Detroit - Will be fun, but a mile away from contending.
8. Ottawa - can you fire an owner?
Metro
1. Carolina - Solid. Fun. Like a young Boston.
2. Washington - Still a deep team.
3. Philly - If Hart can be the #1 they're looking for, watch out.
4. Pittsburgh - Malkin gets hurt too much, and without him, they don't have enough beyond Crosby.
5. NYR - Next year.
6. CLB - Not as bad as people will think, but still a blow to lose so many players.
7. NYI - Last year was a fluke. Varlamov is no Lehner.
8. NJ - Will be fun, but who is their goalie?
WEST
Central
1. St Louis - Not a fluke.
2. Colorado - They were so good in the series against Calgary last year.
3. Nashville - Still hanging around.
4. Dallas - If they can score more goals, they'll be back in.
5. Winnipeg - WHat happened to their defence?
6. Chicago - Turning it around, but not yet.
7. Minnesota - Next crappy team.
Pacific
1. Vegas - Ugh. Pains me to admit it.
2. Calgary - Still as good as last year.
3. SJ - Evander Kane is a tool, but this team is still solid.
4. Edmonton - Could sneak in.
5. Vancouver - On the road back.
6. Anaheim - Gibson could be the best goalie in the league.
7. Arizona - Still nope.
8. LA - With Ottawa & Detroit in the basement.
