This is a great album, reminiscent of Sam Cooke, produced by Steve Jordan. Robert Cray has always been a fantastic soul vocalist, and his blues guitar playing here is more varied, greasy and gritty than his usual stinging clean tone.

I liked her previous edgy Telecaster and vocal affectation guitar/pop. This has an expanded electronic sound palette, and maintains her excellent song craft, at times reminiscent of Rickie Lee Jones’ bohemian cool.
Nice country album from a veteran musician and produced by Dan Auerbach.
