OK, if this match isn't decided by the quarter-finals (next round), then I'm delaying the next round for one day and letting users vote a second time through posting. If at the end of the day a vote is cast through the poll, that would over-ride any posted votes. I'll post again here when I end this rounds matches to remind everyone about this

after three days, I only check back periodically if there's a tie in one of the matches. There may have been a Future Days win previously, but when I checked back it was a 12-12 tie (about 12 hours ago); now I have seen that Since I Left You is ahead by 1 vote, so Since I Left You wins. If there's any controversy with this method, perhaps I can begin closing the polls after three days, so that the votes are locked in... but if it's a tie after that then a winner will be decided by user posted votes within the next 24 hours

Oh no, I'm not complaning about the rules. They are definitely fair. I was just surprised because I wrote this one off as a Future Days win, and when I came back Since I Left You was winning. It's just me crying over spilt milk I guess.
