Definition of insanity? But worth it? For me it's the physical side of things - somehow there's a connection. Plus the size is cooler than CD's - it's got some weight to it/not cheap feeling. It's like that MIT study where they showed you retain information/thoughts better when you write them out by hand. I realize that's not at all the same thing, but I like pretending 😄

Can anyone recommend me some jazz with sitars, like Don Cherry's self-titled?
If you're talking about Brown Rice, that's a tanpura. But you're in luck, Cherry was in a group called Codona with sitarist Colin Walcott, who also put out some good records with a group called Oregon. Can't think of any other sitarists off the top of my head; other SEA and Indian instruments like tabla are a lot more common though.
In my opinion i like the old vinyl sleeves but for the time today i buy my music on CD i like this very much so i can hold something in my hands. Maybe i'm old-fashioned i know the album era is over but that feeling you get when you put out your cd and in the player is beautiful. Same as by Vinyl 😉
