Has a greater guitar riff album ever been written? Whole Lotta Love, Lemon Song, Heartbreaker, Living Loving Maid, Moby Dick, Bring It On Home...all absolutely killer riffs. And beyond that Ramble On is one of my favorite songs of all time, an extremely underrated bass line. End To End this album is brilliant, undoubtedly deserving of its spot.

I'm in 100% agreement with you ๐Ÿ˜

That is why I posted this earlier on this thread. I love everything about this song and it is the most precious gem among all of the gems on Zepp II

.
Best track

And I don't know how to quote another post, but excessive guitar noodling???? Maybe your referring to the interlude in Whole Lotta Love, which builds into one of Page's many PERFECT solos. Or maybe your talking about the true solo in Heartbreaker which is largely considered one of the greatest solos ever recorded. Not sure what else you might be referring to. Hey your entitled to your own opinion, but mine and GARY's is the RIGHT one!!

This one on II has a raw sound 2 it that, if recorded today, would get overproduced and have all it's energy removed. Don't get me wrong I love a great sounding final mix.

But IMO that just wouldn't have worked for this album.
